Reminiscing on our recent girls' trip to Cabo, Mexico is making me anxious for my next trip there! From the moment we arrived at Las Ventanas al Paraíso, we were welcomed like royalty.
Joined by four of my girlfriends, this was my second trip to LVP and I have to admit - it’s now ranking as one of my top two resorts in the world (#1 is Twin Farms in VT where I was engaged). The service at LVP is unparalleled (and you definitely pay up for it!) but it was so relaxing to feel so taken care of after such a busy holiday season.
Each day brought new adventures as we reveled in the luxury and relaxation of this amazing retreat. Mornings were spent lounging on our terrace with room service, or dining at the main restaurant (breakfast is included and not to be missed!), and then afternoons were spent by the infinity pool, sipping tropical cocktails, fresh chips and guac and soaking up the Mexican sunshine. Evenings were filled with laughter and indulgence as we dined on exquisite cuisine at the resort's world-class restaurants, savoring every moment of togetherness and danced the night away at the resort’s amazing and unique speakeasy where every night there are dancers and singers.
But perhaps the most cherished moments were the ones spent simply being together taking a break from mom life for a minute! Among the 5 of us, we counted 14 kids that we left behind - not something that happens every day! But it really re-energized me and got me excited about making this an annual trip (we MIGHT take the husbands back next year!).
I would highly recommend Las Ventanas al Paraíso for an easy, relaxing and luxury vacation (and only a two hour flight from Austin). Until next time, Cabo, adiós y gracias for an experience we'll never forget.
